Vehicle-mounted shortwave Spiral/Broadband Whip Antenna
Product Overview
The Vehicle-Mounted Shortwave Spiral/Broadband Whip Antenna is a high-efficiency, multi-function shortwave “on-the-move” antenna, and one of the first domestic vehicle-mounted shortwave antennas to adopt sectional matching and inductive loading technologies. Depending on whip length, the antenna is available in 4 m, 6 m, and 10 m models, with a maximum power capacity of 2 kW. The antenna elements are designed as variable-pitch helical elements, increasing the effective radiation length while ensuring more uniform energy distribution along the whip. The helical elements are housed in low-loss insulating sleeves reinforced with aramid fiber, providing significantly improved strength, flexibility, safety, and mechanical properties compared to fiberglass sleeves, making it particularly suitable for field operations or communication on moving vehicles. Typically mounted at the rear of a communication vehicle, the antenna can be used in forward, rearward, or upright positions, making it an ideal choice for vehicle-mounted mobile users to achieve rapid shortwave communication, signal interception, and jamming.
